I still remember watching my mother wash her hair when I was a child. She used a simple, plant-based shampoo bar made from camellia seeds. Her hair was always dark, shiny, and healthy—naturally. That image of pure, botanical care stayed with me.

After graduating in Fine Chemical Engineering in 1998, I entered the cosmetics industry. As a developer, I saw firsthand how traditional shampoos often rely on harsh chemicals to solve one problem, only to create another. I kept thinking back to my mother's ritual. There had to be a better way—a way to merge modern convenience with the gentleness of plants.
